Full page illustration taken from the album the Adventures of Tintin King Ottokar’s Sceptre “Laleheroum” is a full-page illustration taken from the album The Adventures of Tintin King Ottokar’s Sceptre (1947). It was inspired by a document from Hergé’s personal archive, “15th century Persian miniatures.” Hergé, who was a master of his art and storytelling, included “The Battle of Zileheroum” in the tourism brochure that Tintin reads on the airplane that takes him to Prague, the last stage before he arrives in Klow (the new name given to the capital of Syldavia, replacing its original name Zileheroum).

This wall hanging, created using top-of-the-range Jacquard weave fabric, is woven using natural fibres (96% cotton and 4% technical yarns for the connection between the weft threads).

It measures 60 x 80 cm, making it perfect for hanging in optimum conditions. This splendid wall hanging was made in Belgium using traditional tapestry techniques.
